INTERPRETING

Oxford Translation can supply interpreters  for your conferences, business meetings, international shows, factory and company visits, negotiations, contract signing, seminars, technical training, etc.  -Simultaneous or consecutive interpreting by the half-day or full day. You can conduct your business easily, with no language barrier.

SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING

For conferences where interpreters have to use cabins for simultaneous interpreting, two or three interpreters per language are required. Each interpreter can work for about 20 minutes at a time and then he or she has to hand over to another interpreter. This system is essential for correct simultaneous interpreting.

CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING

Consecutive interpreting (in which the interpreter translates what one person says, and then in turn translates what his or her opposite number says in reply) needs only one interpreter - who can often interpret three or more languages where necessary.

PRELIMINARY DOCUMENTATION

Although our interpreters only work within their own special field, we recommend nevertheless that you provide some of your documentation in advance, to help them prepare for their work on your behalf. They will then be fully aware of the products or services concerned and will be able to provide a world class service.

EQUIPMENT FOR INTERPRETING

We can also take care of providing equipment support for simultaneous conference work (rental and installation of interpreting booths, headphones, microphones, etc), using a team of specialized technicians.
